I keep receiving messages from persons who claim to be victims of Mr. Ian Wrigley (I received the last one earlier this week). ENIGIN has changed its name and is now being called "BEST Energy Saving". But the products they offer look exactly the same as they were offering under their Enigin brand name.
When a company builds a popular brand name (and if you Google ENIGIN you'll see how many entries you get) you don't change your name...unless you need to hide any dark spot of your past...
Therefore, I suspect that Mr. Wrigey is just trying to keep his "business" running in spite of more and more unhappy "distributors" telling their bad experience around the world.
I remind my readers that this blog is absolutely altruistic and intended to help other people avoid wasting their time and money as I did with Mr. Wrigley's "business opportunity" called then Enigin and now BEST.
I'm a successful and honest Spanish businessman, I have no economic interests with or against Mr. Wrigley, I'm not in the energy efficiency business.
The photos that illlustrate this post were taken in July 2015, during my annual one week cruising (this year it was around Menorca-Balearic Islands) in my small sailing boat, with some of my family members. We had a great time toghether.
My best wishes to everyone!!

One of the statements in www.enigin.net: Mr Sanchez claims his forum was
created to satisfy his “social responsibility”…
Yes, my forum was created to
satisfy my “social responsibility”, a concept that is probably out of your
understanding. After I found out the deception of your business proposal, I
initially asked you to return my money back but at some point, I decided that
claiming my 20.000+ Pounds “investment” money back from your hands would be
incompatible with alerting entrepreneurs against your practices, as you could eventually
pledge that I was blackmailing you. Therefore, I decided to drop my money claim
anymore and instead, try to warn other entrepreneurs against your proposed
business model, which I consider a scam after having seen your inside
operation. Probably, that decision (dropping any money claims against Mr.Ian
Wrigley) is what better helps me achieve my goal, as people approaching me know
that there’s no personal interest at all behind my informative posts: I don’t
sell any competitor product, I don’t expect anymore to get my money back, I run
a successful company (I’m wealthy enough to enjoy a nice lifestyle), I’m a
happy person…but I’m pity for so many entrepreneurs (many from third world
countries) that spend their money and time in trying to grow a new business and
get caught in your claws.
Yes, Mr.Wrigley, I got your "modus
operandi". My wish is that you don’t fool more people anymore.

Amazing
It's amazing:I published a post about an hour ago. Now, I see that I got 30 pageviews in such a short time. I can't understand it, because I think that my blog may only be of interest to entrepreneurs considering to make business with Enigin (now "The Best Group"). Why do I get 30 pageviews within just one hour? Are Enigin's guys tracking my posts? Are they scared about their practices?
News from Enigin (now, the "Best Group")
Today, I have some new
comments about Ian Wrigley's "business". Every few months, I take a
look at my blog and Enigin's practices (not more often, as I'm quite busy
running my business).
Last week, I found the
URL http://www.enigin.net with interesting information.
But before going ahead, I
just summarize what my blog is all about:
- I bought an
Enigin Distributorship License back in 2009, I followed the training in January
2010 and then, I found that Enigin's proposal is not realistic and provokes a
very high percentage of failure rate among its customers.
- Once I realized that it
clearly looked as a clear case of ripoff, I asked them to return my money
back. They obviously didn't do it and instead, they said that "I was the
problem" for not being able to implement their business model.
- At some point, I concluded
that the best I could do as a honest person, wouldn't be any more to try
recovering my money back but trying instead to avoid other honest entrepeneurs
to bury their money in this ripoff scheme. If I would still try to recover my
money, Enigin's Directors would then have an excuse to say that I was
"blackmailing" them. But thanks God, I have money enough to drop any
money claims and concentrate in trying to avoid other honest entrepreneurs from
being cheated.
Now I come back to
the www.enigin.net post. I'll copy their claims (Home Page has been
prepared and approved by the Board Of Directors” followed by my comments (I
recommend you to first read their home page):
"Clearly explain the
company’s radical change in focus and the reasons for it."
Why should Enigin do a
"radical change" if their business model was fine? My opinion: They
are scared about being sued by many "licensees" like myself and many
others. Also, they are being hurt by so many complaints from former licensees
Explain why Enigin would appear
to have more negative listings compared to the average company search, and why
the world’s (Forbes surveyed) most respected companies have considerably more,
indeed some have hundreds, of rip-off reports against their name. No comment.
Why did Enigin do a U-Turn on a
profitable Biz-Op model? My comment: Why
did they do a “U-Turn” if their business proposal was realistic and honest? In
my opinion, they are trying to survive to the many claims they are getting from
around the world.
While there has been some issues
from a handful of people resulting from the former ‘Biz-Op’ model,
notwithstanding this it should be noted we do have many, MANY, successful
distributors and delighted customers both in the UK. As I already mentioned in previous posts, I offered
them to stop my claims if they could prove to me that they had even just ONE
successful licensee in Spain. NO WAY!
Next time, I'll comment on their other statements. They even mention my person and my comments! Should they be concerned about a humble Spanish businessman if their business proposal was honest?
Kind regards to all the persons that, thanks to this information, are dodging Enigin's "business proposal".

Feedback
I often receive messages from my blog readers. I can classify them in two groups: those who are considering buying an Enigin "License" and those who already bought it.
All and every message coming from the second group (those who already bought an Enigin license) claim that their business never took off. In other words, they miserably lost their investment. I just transmit my pity to them, as I suffered the same failure by trying to start the Enigin business model.
I hope that I'm saving a failure to the other group -the ones that still didn't sign up with Enigin. They are mainly from non "first world" countries: Peru, Philipines, Africa...
As I have alreay mentioned, my only wish with my blog is to explain my experience with Enigin and thus avoid others losing miserably their time and money as I did. I'm not asking Enigin anymore for my money back, as I could be considered as an interested part when I express my opinions. I prefer to lose any opportunity to recover my money if I can help other entrepreneurs saving the odissey of what I consider the Enigin scam.
I write my posts in my scarce free time, as my own business takes most of my time. Fortunately, the Spanish economy is finally starting to level up: my company increased revenues 12% in 2013 to around 3,5 Million Euro and during January and February, we grew another 16%. I say this because Enigin's position when you'll fail with them is "you probably hadn't what it takes to build and grow a company". As I said in my first post, I'm a successful businessman and I refuse Enigin's position. The failure is basically due to the "wrong" (or misleading?) Enigin's business model offered in their "Business Appraisal", not the entrepreneurs ability.
My advice is: Stay away from Enigin, if you wish to keep your savings!
NB I'm now starting a new business project with a company in Cornwall, but I'm pretty sure that this time, my British partner is bringing a serious and honest business opportunity. I say this to confimrm my overall experience with British business partners is quite positive, opposed to the Enigin's case.

Just an example
In my post dated 10th March 2012, I
mentioned that Enigin said that you would sell the Eniscope above USD 4.000 per
unit (in their business appraisal, they fundament the big profits that you'll
make are based on the assumption of selling “x” units per month at such USD 4.000+
price...and the business looks promising). I already said that their business
model doesn't work but on top of it, anyone can get most of the promised
benefits of installing a 4.000+ USD Eniscope by installing instead, for
example, an "EngageHub Kit three-phase" from
the company Efergy...at a 74,95 Sterling retail price (around 120 USD). By the
way, in 2012 Enigin were very careful not to mention that each Eniscope had to
pay (on top of its extremely high price) an annual fee for the "server
use" (without it, you don't have access to historical data analysis). I only
learned about the fee at the end of the training course. As you can imagine,
the "server use" is free of charge for the Efergy online energy
monitors.
I'm using an
Efergy single phase at home with very good results and now I'll install a three
phase version in the main offices of my own company.
I don't need to
say that I have no relation with the guys at Efergy, I'm not offering their
products nor getting any commissions from them and this blog is absolutely
altruist, with the hope of avoiding more entrepreneurs committing the same
mistake that I made by believing Enigin's claims about their proposed business
model (what they call their "business appraisal").
I wish you all of
you a fruitful New Year 2014, free of wrong business decisions!!
PS If you are a successful Enigin's Licensee in Spain, please let me know (I still didn't find any one).

"The Ripoff Report" Do you know this web site? Any one who
considers to have been ripped off can post his story.
If you'd like to see what others said about Enigin, you can click here, and you'll learn what other persons think about
the Enigin "business". It looks like I'm not the only one who felt
being ripped of and, in spite of Enigin's efforts to hide any negative
information in the Internet about their activities, there are some places where
anyone can see testimonials of Enigin's Licensees.

This time, I'll tell you a really curious fact that you can test by youself: If you Google "Enigin" you get dozens of entries, like http://www.enigin.com/, http://www.enigin.net/, http://www.enigin-wrigley.org/, http://www.learningcapacities.com/2009/06/18/enigin-partner/, http://www.enigindigital.com/, http://enigin.typepad.com/, http://www.enigin.me/, http://www.enigin.co.uk/, http://www.enigindesign.com/, http://www.ipodderx.com/Enigin_PLC_Pod_Review_Ian_Wrigley/, http://www.eniginresearch.com/, http://www.searchenigin.com/, http://twitter.com/#!/enigin, http://www.theenigin.com/, http://www.eniginmoney.com/ among others.
All of them contain similar information about Enigin's business proposal. Why this? Can you guess why they own so many sites without apparent need of? The result is that, if you Google the word "Enigin", you'll find pages and pages of well positioned results containing repeated Enigin's published information about themselves...Therefore, if you're looking for independent comments about Enigin, you'll very unlikely find them, being them positioned on a very far and hidden position...
Now, let's imagine that you wish to find in the Internet any possible negative comment about Enigin's business proposal and you Google "Enigin scam". What are the results? Believe it or not, you'll get MANY Enigin's sites: http://enigin.net/enigin-scam-busters.php, http://enigin.net/enigin-scam-busters.php, http://www.enigindigital.com/enigin-scam-busters/, http://www.enigin-wrigley.org/enigin-scam-busters/, http://enigin.co.uk/about/enigin-scam-busters, http://enigin.co.uk/about/enigin-scam-busters, http://www.enigindesign.com/enigin-plc-quality-design-helps-to-differentiate-from-scam-products/http://www.enigindesign.com/enigin-plc-quality-design-helps-to-differentiate-from-scam-products/, http://www.unoseis.com/enigin-scam/, http://eniginscambusters.net/ and many more...
Now my question is: Why does Enigin invest such a big effort in opening dozens of sites containing always the same corporate information, all of them very finely well positioned? Why does Enigin also invest a big effort in creating sites that appears if you Google "Enigin scam", containing bizarre texts about energy saving activities in which the words "scam" and "Scam busters" appear repeteadly (which help the site go up in Google's position for the keyword "Enigin Scam" and its variaints)?
I look forward to read some answers. More to come...

I consider
that the license is not worth the 20.000+ Sterling that I was charged for. The
main reasons are:
- Among other claims, Enigin License's salesmen mention a “Licensing Opportunity”offering "a unique and exceptional combination of products and services".
I can say, without doubt, that the above claim is untrue. They are offering a series of products with a small attractive for most energy consumers:
-
The
Eniscope is overprized (they expect their distributors to sell it above 4.000 US
Dollars to the end user, but anyone can find such kind of smart
meters in the market at much lower prices. Also, they don’t mention that the
user must pay a monthly fee for the Eniscope to log the data in their server.
Also, in a typical installation, it’s very unlikely to save between a 10% and
20% of the energy consumption, as they claim insistently. (Obviously, in some exeptional cases, eventually a high saving can be achieved).
-
The
CUES will only work in open, vertical refrigerators. The price (and the profit
margin involved) of the CUES won’t
tipically cover the costs of selling it to a small or medium store, and
an Enigin Distributor won’t have easy access to sell it to big stores (during
the Mindshare training we are being discouraged to approach big companies).
-
LESS
is barely profitable for retrofit installations: the savings won’t pay back the
cost of the units plus installations in years. For new installations, building
companies buy from general lighting suppliers, not from small energy saving
companies.
-
Led
lighting is a concept now entering very strong in the market, as everybody knows. But
the product range that they offer is very small and overpriced. Also, in general lighting
products are being purchased from general lighting suppliers, not from small
energy saving companies.
-
Finally
iMEC, these products are to be sold by engineering companies that also offer
other highly sophisticated energy saving devices and applications.

I'm a 57 years old businessman, living in Barcelona. I own my own successful business and I'm happily married, with 4 daughters and a big family.
Therefore, I can't complain about my lifestyle. More than that, I feel very happy with it.
I know that nobody likes to talk about thier failures (and maybe this is one of the reasons for not finding much information in the web), but I think that I MUST inform to would-be buyers of Enigin's Distributorship's Licenses what they will very probably find afterwards.
Soon, I'll start explaining my personal experience.
I'm letting to get comments in this blog, as it's not a pamphlet at all, so I feel absolutely open to exchange opinions with anybody who wishes to do so. I just wish to avoid nice entrepreneur people throwing away their money and time into a business proposal that does not work in most cases.
If I didn't had the experience and success that I've proven during my life as an antrepreneur, anybody (especially Enigin's directors) could say: well, the fact that you failed doesn't mean that our proposal is meaningless...but that's not the case. I've been (and still I am) for more than 30 years in business and I think that my opinions are valuable for anyone...And I won't make any money out of this, so I have no hidden interests.
Soon I will give everybody more detailed information.
